For my Final year project at uni I am going to design and make Gothic Lolita dresses, with some corsetry included, and I am going to use
colours and techniques from Renaissance clothes. Think the Borgia's or Assassins creed. Layered fabric with slits in, etc.
First would anyone be interested in seeing the outcome.
How old are you?
And what is the most you are willing to pay on your Lolita clothes?
I'd be happy to post the outcomes in June next year if anyone is interested. I just really need to prove to my teachers there is a market out there as they have no clue about how far back lolita goes and I think something like renaissance might be quite nice.

Can anyone make Birmingham 8th July?

We are planning a day in the city - maybe the sealife centre followed by tea & cakes :D

Let me know if you are interested.

Posting here instead of one of the meet comms. cos it's not exactly a meet request/organisin' post. Just gauging interest. Plus I ought to do *something* with this comm.

Because we're more-or-less local (and I have now met several of you) would anyone be up for some very unstructured, casual outings? Like, go somewhere specific (properly dressed, of course) that isn't necessarily interesting enough to provide all-day activities (historical location, derelict building, random hill etc.), bimble about until bored, get pictures, come home.
Nothing important enough to organise a proper meet for loads of people, with a set date and all, but could be entertaining.

Just spreading the word, Tea Party Club is in Nottingham this month.

We're looking at the 8th August at the moment.

We can go to Rosie Lee's for Tea and Cake, and there is also Cafe Rouge or the Malt Cross if people want substantial food at some point.

There will be a artificial beach in the town square, there is a comic shop, a bead shop, Forbidden Planet, Muji, Lakeland, Void, we can go t the arboretum, walk by the canal, go to Wollaton Park, or just wander round town.

If any of you guys wants evening entertainement I think the second saturday of the Month is Pitty Patt Club Burlesque

Hey, I'm Jen, 22. I live in Brighton but often visit my parents in Leominster near Hereford. Anyone else live near there? I don't know anyone since my parents moved there while I was at Uni in Brighton. Would be awesome to have a meet up! x

Gathering for a day of tea drinking and fabric shopping.

Would be lovely to get a small group coming along.  I know the bestest cheapest lace stall in the rag market.

The day is undecided at the mo. depending on when most convienient.

Meetup was originally suggested in loligothuk.

Everyone get in touch and lets start planning! xxx
